My love for the outdoors started as a child. I would often make my way into the small patch of forest connected to my neighborhood in the suburbs of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I always dreamed of building some sort of bunker that I could retreat to, much like the main characters from my favorite books at the time, “My Side of the Mountain” and “Hatchet”. In the woods, I discovered how great it feels to be alone with my thoughts while surrounded by nature.

As I grew up, I started to see different parts of the United States. While on a family vacation to the Redwoods in California, I saw that the west coast has so much nature to offer. Then, once I was old enough and I had the funds, I moved out to Oregon. Around the same time, I bought a camera from a friend of mine, and I quickly became interested in learning how to use it. Once in Oregon, I had so many potential photo shoots right outside my door; in other words, I had so much to practice with! As a landscape photographer, I feel there is almost no better place to be than Oregon. But now, after seven years of photographing Oregon, I’m ready to adventure outside the state border. I hope to bring you along on my adventures while showing you some of the most beautiful landscapes that the United States has to offer.
